I’m a mother of two, who is often accused of being obsessed with food–particularly buying, cooking and serving healthy food to my family and friends. I simply love food. I love to cook. And I love to cook for others!
I’m also trying to reduce my carbon footprint on this beautiful earth by powering much of my home with solar energy, driving an electric car, and supporting local, organic farming. I’m also religious about recycling and composting every possible bit and piece, but in part to offset my guilt for being a product-junkie, and regularly buying new products. I love trying new natural skin care and make-up products (and sharing my latest product discoveries).
I hope you enjoy some of my recipes as well as my postings about health and beauty products and overall wellness.
I nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award! http://tinyurl.com/7djr6bf

Thanks, Lynn and Alex! I think it’s interesting that most of my favorite food bloggers are from the UK. Ironic don’t you think given the historical view of the UK’s food scene? 😉 I noticed a big change when I was living there in 2004-2007. -Moira

Hi Moria! Ha-ha, what do you meannn, what was wrong with the British menu pre 2000?! 😛 :; Pretty vile! …But a lot of food ‘back in the day’ was a means to end; your body needed fuel and that was that! The British food scene has been on the move ever since spices arrived, but has definitely improved over the last 10 years (thank god)! However, there are still people in rural areas sticking to ‘traditional’ British foods… luckily the younger, multi-cultural areas tend to embrace what the world has to offer and menus keep improving! OoO, what were you doing on this side of the pond? 😀
